Background Information and Highlights
At the time of writing the Fairmont Windsor Park Hotel at Englefield Green and next to the lovely Savill Gardens near Windsor Berkshire is undertaking a massive refurbishment by the Arora Hotels group and is due to re-open during 2021.
Meanwhile this gallery includes a selection of photos from several weddings Peter photographed and video'd in its previous incarnation as the Savill Court Hotel and Spa.
The wedding venue has several function rooms authorised for civil marriage ceremonies. It is one of the few venues in the area that can take very large numbers of guests and so it is particularly suitable for the larger Asian weddings where guests can reach 200-300 or more.

The first photo above shows the exterior of the rear of the hotel. There is a lovely terraced area and extensive grounds and lawns. Plenty of space to land your helicopter should you wish!
Some couples choose to have their marriage ceremony at a local church. This bride and groom chose St Michael and All Angels Church in Sunninghill near Ascot
Sometimes if the wedding is very late in the day or if the weather is unsuitable for going outside Peter can shoot entirely within the hotel, using powerful lights if needed. The next photo above shows the entire group of guests with their bride and groom shot in the beautiful old oak panelled room. Peter set up two mains powered lights complete with softboxes
